Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at Choctaw Resort Development Enterprise. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality food preparation and presentation in our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare, season, and finish all food items in accordance with established recipes and guidelines.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen environment at all times, adhering to state health regulations and company policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless food production and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in managing kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies.
  • Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the highest quality standards in food preparation and presentation.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
  • Experience: One year of experience in a culinary operation, such as a full-service hotel or restaurant.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a fast-paced environment; Serv-Safe certification required.
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this position include moderate to heavy lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods. The work environment is fast-paced and may be subject to noise and temperature fluctuations.
