Job Summary:

As a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Technician at Holt CAT, you will be responsible for performing exemplary maintenance services on heavy equipment to ensure owning and operating costs exceed customer standards. You will use Holt Cat's digital tools to capture and report issues as they pertain to the operation and performance of the equipment to maximize uptime. Additionally, you will work with Holt's central dispatch team for logistics and communicate directly with customers to confirm job requirements, location, and timeline.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality preventative field maintenance work and electronic inspections on heavy equipment
  • Effectively maintain and communicate a field service schedule to deliver an exceptional customer experience
  • Adaptable and understanding of changes to schedules and timelines
  • Accurately obtain, package, and submit required compartment fluid samples daily
  • Maintain appearance and operation of service truck to ensure productivity and professional representation to Holt customers
  • Work Order Efficiency- 5% or higher for the reviewed time period
  • Requires regular and punctual employee attendance
  • Works safely always and adheres to all applicable safety policies; complies with all company policies, procedures, and standards
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Up to one year of experience with field or shop preventive maintenance of heavy equipment such as dozers, backhoes, front-end loaders, and excavators preferred
  • A valid driver's license with a safe driving record required
  • Must be able to obtain a Class B CDL within 6 months of employment
