Position Overview

The Murphco of FL is seeking dedicated and experienced individuals for the role of Guest Room Cleaning Specialist.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conducts regular tasks in the sanitation and maintenance of guest accommodations.
  2. Prepares and organizes housekeeping carts with essential supplies on a daily basis, ensuring equipment is clean and functional.
  3. Removes all bedding, including sheets and pillowcases, on a daily basis, and addresses any soiled linens appropriately.
  4. Carefully makes beds with fresh linens, collects all litter from the floor, empties waste receptacles, cleans mirrors and surfaces, dusts and polishes furniture, and ensures that furniture is arranged neatly.
  5. Performs vacuuming of guest rooms to maintain cleanliness.
  6. Thoroughly cleans bathrooms, including scrubbing sinks, tubs, toilets, and tile floors with suitable cleaning agents, followed by disinfecting surfaces.
  7. Restocks supplies, towels, and amenities, ensuring compliance with brand standards for room setup.
  8. Communicates the completion status of rooms to the housekeeping supervisor.
  9. Reports any unusual conditions in rooms or issues with furniture to the head of housekeeping promptly.
  10. Undertakes additional tasks as directed by the head of housekeeping or as required by operational needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. High school diploma is preferred but not mandatory.
  2. Exhibits a positive demeanor and is focused on guest satisfaction.
  3. Demonstrates the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
