Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, including baguettes, country sourdough, and rye.
  • Craft and bake croissants to perfection.
  • Produce essential pastry components such as jams, pastry creams, and crumble toppings.
  • Participate in menu innovation and development.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of professional baking experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in bread and/or viennoiserie techniques.
  • Availability for early morning and weekend shifts, including 2am on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain high-quality standards under pressure.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Valid California food handler's certification and proof of Covid vaccination.
