Job Summary

The Warehouse Receiving Associate plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities. This position is responsible for receiving, processing, and storing inventory, as well as maintaining accurate records and resolving any issues that may arise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by adhering to standard operating procedures.
  • Communicate with vendors regarding damage or discrepancies in received inventory.
  • Manage vendor returns, manage and maintain internal information, and work with the Inventory Lead to ensure seamless VRMA management.
  • Collaborate with the Inventory Lead to achieve departmental goals, including receiving all incoming products complete and accurate, and maintaining strict inventory accuracy.
  • Assist Dispatch and Order Pull with retrieving back orders that have been received.
Work Environment

This role requires the ability to sit, stand, and walk intermittently throughout the day, with occasional use of office equipment such as computers, mice, keyboards, and printers. The work environment may involve frequent exposure to warehouse operations, including noise levels from large trucks, forklifts, and construction workers.

The ideal candidate will possess the ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, talk or hear, and use specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The ability to regularly lift up to 50-75 pounds is also required.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Driver's License and excellent driving record required.
  • Prior experience working in a warehouse environment strongly preferred.
  • Forklift experience and certification preferred.
  • Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language fluently, and communicate verbally and in writing at a professional level.
Work Schedule

This role is considered full-time, working approximately 40 hours per week, and is eligible for overtime. The position is expected to work an 8-hour shift, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 6:00am and 5:30pm, with occasional Saturday shifts required to fulfill inventory obligations. Travel within the geographic region will be required.

Compensation details: 22-26 Hourly Wage
