Ultrasound Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at an established acute-care hospital located near Brownwood, Texas.

• Patient Preparation: Position and prepare patients for ultrasound examinations, prioritizing their comfort and safety.
• Equipment Operation: Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images of internal anatomy.
• Image Analysis: Assess and interpret ultrasound images to assist in diagnosing medical conditions and developing treatment plans.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of patient history, procedures performed, and diagnostic results.
• Collaboration: Work closely with physicians, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to review findings and enhance patient care plans.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure ultrasound equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and report any issues promptly.
• Patient Education: Explain procedures to patients, address their questions, and provide follow-up care instructions.

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology or Ultrasound program.
• Minimum of 1 year of ultrasound experience.
• Certified by ARRT or ARDMS.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Licensed by the Texas Medical Board (MRT) or ARDMS.
