Key Responsibilities- Apply manufacturing engineering skillsets across the extended value stream to resolve constraints and improve process and product designs
- Leverage knowledge and technical skills to influence business decisions and results from new designs to recurring production
- Design, control, and improve the producibility of products through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team
- Lead and coordinate projects, efforts, and improvements across the extended value streams
- Act as the manufacturing and producibility authority within the program
- Act as a mentor and trainer to manufacturing engineers
- Identify and resolve constraints across the program
- Participate in corrective action investigation
- Provide technical input and peer review to engineering design changes
- Provide technical guidance and problem-solving to factory engineers
- Typically requires a Bachelor's in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Access (ATF)
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
- Ability to identify, reduce, and eliminate cost, quality, and schedule constraints through technical engagements
- Understand and utilize factory and program performance data
- Ability to work or lead in groups and cross-functional teams
- Experience with technical writing
- Experience with MRP systems, including SAP
- Experience with DOD financial reporting systems, including EAC and EVMS processes
- Experience teaching, training, and/or mentoring manufacturing systems to junior engineers
- Experience communicating technical information to different audiences
- Current DOD Security Clearance

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
