Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Stationary Engineer to join our team at Insight Global. As a key member of our Power Plant team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our central power plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain high-pressure boilers, large centrifugal chillers, and auxiliary equipment in a central power plant environment.
  • Perform routine maintenance, lubrication, and cleaning of plant equipment on a regular basis.
  • Test and maintain proper water conditions in boilers and cooling towers.
  • Monitor and log fuel oil and gas consumption, as well as take and log fuel oil tank levels during fuel oil burning operations.
  • Attend staff meetings, training seminars, and in-service plant equipment training sessions as scheduled.
  • Perform other functions and duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • State of Maryland 1st Grade Stationary Engineer's License.
  • Five years of experience working in a central power plant with high-pressure boilers, large centrifugal chillers, and auxiliary equipment.
  • Basic computer skills desired.
  • Ability to work overtime and rotating shifts.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform physical work in a hot environment.
