Oncology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

Emory Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our Oncology Team at Emory University Hospital Midtown. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the advancement of healthcare.
Responsibilities- Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
- Document patient information, including medical histories, psychosocial histories, and health status, in a clear and concise manner.
- Perform physical examinations, specialized diagnostic procedures, and cast application and removal, wound suturing and dressing changes, under the direction of a physician.
- Assist in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment, working collaboratively with our medical team.
- Order, schedule, and perform laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures, such as urinalyses, pregnancy and blood tests, and x-rays.
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Minimum one year of direct experience in a high acuity clinical specialty.
- BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required, with ACLS certification may be required in some areas.
Emory Healthcare offers a competitive salary range of $110,000 to $140,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a student loan repayment benefit, paid parental leave, and incentive plan eligibility.
