About the Role

Meta is seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving the technical direction of our machine learning initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy scalable machine learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the machine learning team, ensuring that our solutions are scalable, efficient, and effective.
  2. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineering, data science, and product management, to develop and deploy machine learning solutions that meet business needs.
  3. Machine Learning Development: Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and algorithms that drive business value and improve customer experience.
  4. Architecture and Design: Collaborate with the architecture team to design and implement scalable and efficient machine learning architectures that meet business needs.
  5. Experimentation and Evaluation: Design and execute experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of machine learning models and algorithms, and provide recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience: 12+ years of experience in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java, with a strong background in machine learning and data science.
  3. Skills: Proven track record of developing and deploying scalable machine learning solutions, experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, and strong understanding of data science and machine learning concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experience: Experience shipping products to millions of customers or having started a new line of product.
Compensation and Benefits

$264,000/year to $342,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
