Role Summary:
We are in search of a detail-oriented and organized Outbound Coordinator to enhance our logistics operations at Vobev, LLC. This role is crucial in our supply chain management, focusing on the effective coordination and execution of the shipping process. The ideal candidate will ensure that all products are dispatched accurately and punctually, contributing to our commitment to shipping excellence.
Work Schedule:
Shift: Monday - Friday
Start Times: 1200 (Noon) - 2000
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage outgoing shipments, ensuring precision in order documentation and shipping labels.
- Coordinate with carriers to schedule timely pick-ups for shipments.
- Maintain and update the inventory management system with shipping and receiving data.
- Oversee returns, including inspection, restocking, or disposal of items.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock assessments to ensure accurate stock levels.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and standard operating procedures in shipping and receiving areas.
- Utilize shipping software to monitor, check, prioritize, and route orders effectively.
- Communicate with customer service and other departments to address shipping issues or delays.
- Provide weight, shipping costs, and time estimates to sales or customer service teams as needed.
- Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials, adhering to legal and company guidelines.
- Maintain records of all shipping logs, documenting essential information for future reference.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to manage shipments.

Qualifications:
Education and Skills: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) with at least one year of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience. Basic math skills for package measurements and label preparation are essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required. Flexibility to work overtime as necessary.
The successful candidate should possess strong skills in Microsoft Office and Excel, proficiency with shipping software, and a solid understanding of postal or commercial shipping methods and procedures. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, both independently and collaboratively, are crucial. Familiarity with inventory software and the ability to input and retrieve data are necessary. An understanding of safety protocols in a warehouse setting is required, and forklift certification is advantageous.
Additional Requirements: Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and must be at least 21 years of age to comply with legal regulations regarding the handling and proximity to alcohol.
