Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Produce Clerk to join our team at Sprouts Farmers Market. As a key member of our produce department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service and satisfaction in our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Stock and merchandise produce products, including presentation, facing, filling, and organization of all product items as set by the produce department schematics.
  • Ensure tag and pricing accuracy, and maintain a high level of product knowledge and preparation.
  • Responsible for the proper stocking and rotation of merchandise in the produce department, including trimming, watering, and merchandising of products to ensure fresh, high-quality offerings.
  • Assist in the absence of the produce manager on duty, and ensure proper inventory control to maximize product freshness and availability.
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a friendly and helpful manner.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, and basic knowledge of math, weights, and measures.
  • Dependable and reliable, with a positive attitude and ability to interact with customers.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Good communication skills, and ability to take direction and participate in a team environment.
  • Perform general housekeeping in the department, including cleaning and sanitizing work areas.
  • Adhere to all safety, health, and weights and measures regulations.
  • Ability to lift, stack, and maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and walk a total of up to 5 miles in an 8-hour shift.
