About the Role

USPI New Mexico Multispecialty Surgery Center is seeking a skilled Certified Surgical Technologist to support our team in delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in surgical procedures, maintaining a sterile environment and adhering to established protocols.
  • Prepare and maintain supplies, instruments, and equipment for surgical procedures.
  • Support the Director of Nursing in ensuring the highest quality of care and patient satisfaction.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities to enhance patient outcomes and center efficiency.
Specialties

Experience in supporting various specialties, including Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, and Urology.

Requirements
  • Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician certification.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of experience as an Instrument Room Technician.
  • Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and sterilization procedures.
  • Ability to prepare reports and maintain records.
