Role Responsibilities:
As a key member of the Bloomberg Finance team, you will play a vital role in delivering top-tier support to our business stakeholders through insightful analysis of financial performance and strategic guidance.
The Global Compensation Team is integral to managing all facets of compensation, including program development, strategic planning, funding allocation, compliance with regulations, and comprehensive reporting. This role offers a unique opportunity to advise senior management across the organization while collaborating with various departments.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
- Creating and delivering comprehensive compensation reports and analyses to inform business decisions.
- Overseeing global regulatory compliance, including the preparation and submission of necessary documentation and reports.
- Establishing and enforcing operational and financial controls to enhance workflow efficiency.
- Collaborating effectively with team members to ensure project success and meet deliverables.
- Building and nurturing relationships with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
- Partnering with Engineering, HRIS, and Payroll to align systems with compensation needs.
- Handling large datasets from multiple sources while maintaining data integrity.
- Staying informed on market trends and best practices to apply relevant insights to our operations.
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in Finance and/or Compensation.
- A Bachelor's degree is required.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel, data analysis, and financial modeling.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in complex data management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a creative approach to developing solutions.
- Proven experience as a subject matter expert, leading initiatives, and influencing key stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate sound judgment.
- Proficient in PowerPoint with the skill to craft compelling narratives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective presentation of ideas.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage expectations and deliver results.
- Technical proficiency in Workday Report Writer, Microsoft VBA, and SQL.
