Job Title: PDI Technician

At Linamar, we are seeking a skilled PDI Technician to join our team. As a PDI Technician, you will be responsible for conducting thorough pre-delivery inspections on our equipment to ensure it meets our high standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive pre-delivery inspections on our equipment to identify any defects or issues.
  • Conduct routine mechanical duties, including troubleshooting and minor repairs, to ensure our equipment is in good working condition.
  • Track and document material usage, including parts inventory, to ensure accurate records.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork and systems entry is complete and accurate.
  • Prepare and clean equipment for shipment, ensuring it meets our customer requirements.
  • Perform paint touch-ups as needed.
  • Maintain a safe work area, ensuring proper clean-up after inspections are complete.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Evidence of technical training in a mechanical field is an asset.
  • Ability to obtain a license or certification to operate a Forklift and Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) equipment.
  • Supply own hand tools; specialized tools will be provided.
  • Bilingual (English & Spanish) is an asset.
