About the RoleThis customer-facing position requires a unique blend of compassion, kindness, and professionalism. You'll interact directly with patients, physicians, caregivers, and internal departments to answer questions, solve problems, and provide education. Your primary function will be to provide a seamless onboarding experience for new infusion patients to CVS Specialty and Coram.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients and healthcare professionals
- Process new referrals, manage insurance coverage, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless patient care
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in healthcare
- Minimum two years of experience in customer service and/or healthcare environment
- Minimum two years of healthcare insurance coverage/benefit experience
- Minimum one year of experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word
- Preferred experience working with healthcare insurance and medical terminology
- Preferred Certified Pharmacy Technician
