Overview

At The Summit at Snoqualmie, we're seeking a passionate and skilled SnowSports Nordic Instructor to join our team. As a Nordic ski instructor, you'll have the opportunity to share your love of skiing with our guests and help them create lifelong memories in the beautiful Pacific Northwest mountains.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality lessons to students of all skill levels, following the PSIA teaching standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging and inclusive lesson groups.
  • Adhere to uniform guidelines and maintain a professional appearance.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to guest feedback and insights to help us improve our services.
  • Assist with non-teaching duties, such as snow removal, snow fencing, and on-hill animation.
Qualifications
  • Excellent guest service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional experiences.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including holidays and weekends, as needed.
  • Flexibility with work days and hours.
  • 16 years or older at the time of hire.
  • PSIA-AASI certification is a plus.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive base wage, dependent on certifications, ranging from $17.50 to $22.00 per hour.
  • Certification and dual-discipline hourly stipends, ranging from $0.25 to $1.00 per hour.
  • Accreditation hourly stipends, ranging from $0.50 to $1.50 per hour.
  • Tenure-based hourly stipends, ranging from $0.50 to $2.50 per hour, for employees with over one year of service.
  • Product incentives, ranging from $0.75 to $8.00 per hour or per student.
  • End-of-season loyalty bonus, equal to 5% of gross wages.
