Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Per Diem Dietitian to join our team at Adventist Health. As a Per Diem Dietitian, you will provide comprehensive nutritional care to patients and residents identified with special needs and/or those who meet nutritional risk criteria.

Responsibilities
  • Perform assessments of patients to determine those at nutritional risk.
  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition plans to facilitate appropriate meal patterns, monitor nutritional intake, and initiate appropriate interventions.
  • Provide nutritional education to patients, family members, and healthcare team personnel.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition or equivalent.
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) certification within 6 months of completion of residency program.
  • Experience as a Clinical Dietitian preferred.
