Job Summary:

Kern Medical is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work closely with patients to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, focusing on improving their functional abilities and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients' functional performance capabilities and develop tailored treatment plans to address their needs
Administer occupational therapy services, including application of splints and instruction in the use of adaptive equipment
Teach corrective exercises to patients and assist them with adjustment problems
Participate in in-service programs for staff and maintain accurate records of services

Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited school of Occupational Therapy
Current licensure by the State of California as an Occupational Therapist
Possession of a valid certificate issued by the American Occupational Therapy Association (preferred)
