Building Systems Specialist

Pritchard Industries is seeking a skilled and dedicated Building Engineer to maintain the operational functionality of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems, across a variety of commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities- Operate, monitor, and maintain in good working order and condition, the heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systems, and all other equipment related to the mechanical and electrical plant of the building.
- Prepare, maintain, and regularly review logs for service, repair, operation, and complaints related to the equipment.
- Develop and maintain in operation, a program for preventive maintenance of the mechanical/electrical equipment and critical site systems.
- Comply with The Federal Occupational Safety and Health Act and all other applicable government rules and regulations.
- Maintain in neat, clean, and painted condition all areas containing building systems and equipment.
- Oversee any special maintenance, repairs, or other work to the systems and equipment performed by others.
- Maintain and manage an ongoing comprehensive preventive maintenance program for all building systems and equipment.
- Monitor and evaluate the energy consumption of the Property and shall recommend additions, replacements, enhancements, or modifications to existing equipment or systems in order to maximize energy efficiency.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
- 7+ years of related work experience in operating Commercial Buildings
- Experience with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Life Safety Systems
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record
- Familiarity with automated building controls, preventive maintenance techniques, and knowledge of pneumatic controls
- Must work well under pressure
- Detail-oriented and ability to function in a fast-paced environment
- Must possess the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Team player who can also work independently and is a self-starter
- Strong communication skills
- Computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to all customers
- Ability to effectively present information
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues
- Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents
- Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations
- Salary: $29 - $32/hour
- Full-Time Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
