Clinical Nurse Specialist
- Part-Time Night Shift in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) - 24 hours per week. The Clinical Nurse Specialist is responsible for prescribing, delegating, and coordinating comprehensive nursing care for patients. This role involves engaging in patient and family education and providing leadership by collaborating effectively with nursing staff, ancillary personnel, and other members of the healthcare team to uphold the standards of professional nursing practice within the clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and implement suitable interventions, taking into account the specific requirements of diverse patient populations in accordance with departmental guidelines.
Oversee the delegation of nursing tasks and provide necessary supervision; develop and maintain a structured plan for nursing care delivery; ensure that nursing interventions are targeted towards resolving identified issues; and execute technical care procedures with proficiency.
Qualifications:
Possession of a valid RN license as recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is mandatory.
