Telecommunications Financial Analyst

Position Summary

LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech Company, is in search of a Telecommunications Budget Analyst who possesses a strong background in telecommunications systems and financial management to assist the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center.

Key Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge of telecommunications standards and terminology, including VoIP, analog systems, and cabling protocols.
• Oversee and monitor telecommunications projects effectively.
• Support planning and requirements gathering for telecommunications initiatives.
• Assist in the management of revenue and expenses for the FAA's telecommunications branch.
• Contribute to the FAA Finance Office's Central Budget planning and requirements.
• Respond to requests for budget data.
• Process Telecommunications Work Requests related to funding needs.
• Provide cost estimates for customer requirements and verify availability of customer funds.
• Manage Procurement Requests for the telecommunications unit using PRISM.
• Track customer funds and ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Reconcile organizational revenue and expenses using Delphi.
• Maintain inventory of new telecommunications equipment within the Telecom & Space Management System.
• Issue and monitor requests for national programs through relevant management tools.
• Support the FAA Voice Enterprise Services Program.
• Engage with national programs related to General Services Administration/Networx.
• Establish and nurture relationships with telephone coordinators, customers, and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with FAA organizations to fulfill their operational missions.

Educational Requirements

• Associate degree with 16 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience with the FAA.
• Strong interpersonal, facilitation, project management, written and verbal communication, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to initiate actions, collaborate with team members, and drive tasks to completion.

Work Environment

• Location: Oklahoma City, OK
• Work Hours: Hybrid, standard working hours
• Travel: Minimal
• Physical Requirements:
  • Extended computer use with regular and prolonged periods at a workstation.
  • Mobility to navigate the office environment for access to equipment.
  • Manual dexterity and visual acuity for operating computer systems and troubleshooting.
  • Prolonged sitting and occasional standing may be necessary for various tasks.
• Background check: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
