Job Description
LS Technologies, a Tetra Tech Company, is seeking a Telecommunications Analyst with technical expertise in telecommunications systems and services to support the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at the Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center.
Responsibilities
- Experience in telecommunications standards and terminology including VoIP, analog, cabling protocols.
- Experience and/or ability to manage and track telecommunications projects.
- Assist in planning and requirements.
- Assist in managing telecommunications revenue and expenses for AMK-224, the FAA MMAC telecommunication branch.
- Assist with the FAA Finance Office Central Budget planning and requirements.
- Respond to budget data calls.
- Process Telecommunications Work Requests for Funding Requirements.
- Provided quotes for customer requirements and verify Customer Funds Availability.
- Manage Procurement Requests (PR) for the MMAC Telecommunications Unit (AMK-224) using PRISM
- Customer funds tracking
- Track and reconcile organizational revenue and expenses in Delphi.
- Manage new telecom equipment inventory in the Telecom & Space Management System.
- Issue and track requests for national programs through the KSN and the Telecommunications Enterprise Management Tools (TEMT) - General Services Administration (GSA)/Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS); DITCO; FAVES.
- Support for the FAA Voice Enterprise Services (FAVES) Program.
- Provide support for national programs: General Services Administration (GSA)/Networx.
- Establish and maintain relationships with on-site telephone coordinators, customers, and stakeholders.
- Work with FAA organizations to assist in meeting the overall mission of their organization.
Education
- Associate degree and 16 years of relevant work experience.
Qualifications
- FAA experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitation, and project management skills, written and oral communication skills and analytical skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
- Strong attention to detail, well organized and ability to self-prioritize multiple activities is required.
- Ability to effectively initiate actions, collaborate with others, and drive action items to resolution.

- Work Hours: Hybrid. Normal working hours

- Physical requirements:
- Extended Computer Use: Regular and prolonged periods of working at a computer terminal.
- Mobility: Ability to move around the office environment to access computer hardware, networking equipment, and server rooms.
- Dexterity: Manual dexterity and visual acuity to operate computer equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform tasks requiring precision.
- Sitting/Standing: Both prolonged sitting and occasional standing may be required for troubleshooting and attending to system issues.
- Background check: Must have ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
