About the Role:
The ERP Systems Administrator is tasked with facilitating the long-term, profitable growth of FOCO through the management of applications related to Financial Systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics GP and Dynamics 365 Business Central.
This position acts as a vital liaison, trainer, and expert in business processes for ERP systems, addressing all aspects of Microsoft Dynamics GP, Dynamics 365 BC, and internal user requests.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Accounting and IT departments to support Dynamics GP, third-party applications, and integration with other software solutions.
This role reports directly to the VP of Technology.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all software and hardware aspects related to Dynamics GP, including routine maintenance, installations, updates, patches, customizations, and integrations, as well as third-party applications and business processes.
Effectively communicate with internal and external resources to ensure successful project completion.
Administer Dynamics GP End Users, roles, tasks, and all associated third-party applications.
Update documentation such as "How To" guides and "Standard Operating Procedures" as needed.
Proactively manage and prioritize multiple Dynamics GP-related projects, assignments, timelines, milestones, and follow-up communications.
Conduct training sessions across departments for support and cross-department end-user training involving GP.
Troubleshoot and resolve daily support tickets efficiently.
Typical Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience is required.
Hands-on experience with Dynamics GP (2018 or newer) as an administrator is essential.
Experience with Dynamics 365 BC is also required.
Understanding of General Ledger, Sales Order Processing, Purchase Order Processing, Inventory, Project Accounting, Manufacturing & Bill of Materials, and Workflows is crucial.
Familiarity with reporting tools such as Crystal Reports, SSRS, Management Reporter, Report Writer, Smart List Builder, and others is preferred.
Experience with Dynamics GP Manufacturing, Warehouse Management, and Web Services is advantageous.
Microsoft Dynamics GP certification is preferred.
Experience with MS SQL Server, including Database Backup/Recovery/Maintenance, and knowledge of Great Plains table structure and eConnect is beneficial.
