Position Overview
The Environmental Services Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment within the healthcare facility. This position involves various cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure that all areas meet health and safety standards.
Work Schedule
Part-time evening shifts are available, with hours typically ranging from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. or 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.
Compensation
The pay rate starts at $16.00 per hour, with potential increases based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly cleans and disinfects designated areas, including patient rooms, offices, and common spaces, following established protocols.
- Efficiently manages the removal and disposal of waste, linens, and other materials.
- Conducts routine maintenance on flooring, carpets, and upholstery to uphold cleanliness standards.
- Organizes and maintains cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure readiness for use.
- Collaborates with team members to facilitate seamless service delivery and report any maintenance needs.
- Assists visitors and staff in navigating the facility as needed.
- May be required to provide coverage across different departments based on operational needs.
