Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Cayuga Health System is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our nutrition and dining operations, you will be responsible for managing the shift, ensuring the highest quality service to our patients, visitors, employees, and guests, while adhering to all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Staff supervision and management
  • Adherence to local, state, and federal safety and sanitation codes
  • Vendor management and quality control
  • Catering and retail operations
  • Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable management
  • Food cost analysis and budgeting
  • Effective communication and team-based management
  • Subject Matter Expert in food service management software
  • Retail and cash handling
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisor-level experience in food service, preferably in an acute care setting
  • 2-year degree in Nutrition, Food Service Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Preferred qualifications include RD, CDM, CFPP, and Servsafe or Food Safety Manager certification
Physical and Travel Requirements:
  • Standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, pushing, pulling, and reaching
  • 100% onsite work
Compensation:
  • $26.63 per hour
