Job Summary

We're seeking an exceptional Plumbing Designer/Engineer to join our team in Irving, TX. The successful candidate will focus on designing building-related projects, including hotels, apartment buildings, retail/commercial spaces, and educational facilities using Revit and AutoCAD software.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing plumbing systems for various commercial buildings
• Developing system design calculations and selecting equipment for use in buildings
• Preparing detailed design documents
• Writing and editing specifications
• Conducting code compliance research
• Coordinating work with other disciplines
• Conducting site surveys to determine and document existing conditions
• Providing construction administration services

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (preferred but not required)
• 3+ years of design experience
• PE/EIT certification (preferred but not required)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to lead a team and work collaboratively
• Knowledge and understanding of codes, standards, and design guidelines
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Office
• Ability to travel
