Key Responsibilities
  • Verify medical health benefits and eligibility
  • Submit pre-authorization for ABA, SLP, and OT services
  • Submit credentialing applications to insurance companies
  • Submit demographic information to insurance companies
  • Post and reconcile payments in our Practice Management System
  • Audit Accounts Receivables
  • Conduct follow-up calls with insurance companies
  • Follow up on claims
  • Billing clients for Patient Responsibility and reconcile payments with our Practice Management System
  • Take and document detailed notes
  • Data entry and categorization
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and excellent academic record
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to pass MD/VA state and FBI background check, as well as a sex offender background check
