Position Overview:
As a Facilities Supervisor in an educational or administrative setting, you will oversee custodial operations and ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the premises. This role involves supervising the custodial team and engaging in various cleaning, maintenance, operational, and security tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and train custodial staff to uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Participate in the development and implementation of custodial training programs.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of custodial personnel, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper use of cleaning materials and equipment.

Qualifications:
- A combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma or GED.
- A minimum of two years of experience in public building custodial operations, including at least one year in a supervisory role.
- Completion of the required custodial certification course within the designated timeframe.
- Flexibility to work evening or night shifts as necessary.

Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of custodial methods and procedures.
- Ability to effectively train and supervise staff.
- Proficient in understanding and interpreting instructions, both written and verbal.
- Capable of maintaining accurate records and preparing routine reports.
- Ability to identify hazards and implement safe work practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students, and the community.
