Job Overview

The Maintenance Technician is accountable for ensuring the optimal condition and operational efficiency of Genesis Prime Care facilities, including common areas and surrounding grounds.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversees the upkeep of the property, which encompasses offices, production spaces, public areas, outdoor grounds, and various equipment.
  • Guarantees that all maintenance tasks and repairs are executed promptly, economically, and in alignment with established specifications.
  • Manages the physical operations of the organization, which includes refrigeration, heating, ventilation, air conditioning, kitchen appliances, emergency power systems, plumbing, water treatment, and electrical frameworks.
  • Maintains the exterior landscape as required, including mowing, trimming, and caring for lawns, flower beds, and other greenery.
  • Collaborates with relevant staff and management to gather information regarding maintenance requirements; ensures swift responses to requests.
  • May assist in the engagement of external contractors when necessary.
  • Supports the Compliance Coordinator in ensuring that the property adheres to all safety and sanitation standards, policies, and regulations.
  • Holds and upholds comprehensive knowledge of municipal and state building regulations, OSHA standards, and ADA legislation; applies OSHA and ADA guidelines effectively.
  • Possesses and maintains extensive expertise in ventilation/air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, electrical work, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and other widely accepted maintenance practices.
  • Manages expenditures within approved budget limits and seeks necessary approvals as required.
  • Prepares accurate and timely reports as needed.
  • Provides courier services to and from clinics as necessary.
  • Performs additional related duties as assigned by management.
