Position Summary:
We are seeking a CAD Manager to spearhead the design and development of water and wastewater treatment facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a robust proficiency in Autodesk Revit or AutoCAD Plant 3D.

Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be integrated into the Digital Engineering Team and will be responsible for:

  • Formulating and executing a strategy to uphold CAD quality and uniformity on a national scale.
  • Establishing and updating CAD standards.
  • Providing training and professional development for CAD personnel nationwide.
  • Defining and sustaining the CAD data architecture and exchange protocols, ensuring alignment with the Digital Engineering data framework.
  • Collaborating with National and Regional Leads to comprehend their specific CAD needs.
  • Engaging with external suppliers, designers, and framework clients to guarantee the quality and consistency of CAD deliverables.

Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Experience in developing and managing CAD standards.
  • Expertise in change management processes.
  • Proficiency in delivering training materials.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk software, including Revit, AutoCAD (Plant 3D and PID), Navisworks, and Civil 3D.
  • Understanding of ISO 19650 and its practical applications.
  • A strong enthusiasm for organizing and maintaining data integrity.

Preferred Qualifications:
Applicants with the following qualifications will be given preference:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience within the Water Industry.
  • Knowledge of Bentley ProjectWise.
