Job Summary

This role is designed for a dedicated and passionate individual who can create a nurturing environment for infants to thrive. As an Early Childhood Educator with Infant Development Expertise, you will work collaboratively with the teaching team to plan and implement engaging activities that cater to the unique needs of each child.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a safe, orderly, and inviting classroom environment that promotes positive exploration and developmental progress.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to design and implement lesson plans that meet the social-emotional, cognitive, fine motor, gross motor, and physical development needs of the children.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily meal counts, classroom rosters, and ouch reports.
  • Provide regular updates to parents through open and responsive communication.
  • Promptly address any concerns or issues that may arise during the day.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ECE programs.
  • 24 ECE units plus 6 units in Infant/Toddler Development plus General Education units, AND/OR CTC Teacher Permit.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and fulfill physical requirements of the job.
  • Valid Driver's License (if transporting children).

Additional Information

Please note that this role requires a Tuberculosis test & document as specified in section 101216(g) and Child Abuse Managed Reporter Training (online). Additionally, proof of current Immunizations (Measles, Pertussis, Influenza) and T.B. clearance within the past year are required. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of infant development, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
