Responsibilities
  • Provide direct clinical services to clients under the supervision of a licensed mental health professional.
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for the identification of psychological needs.
  • Complete ongoing documentation of services provided that is consistent with professional standards and established clinical procedures.
  • Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community.
  • Participate in an Integrated Care Model by coordinating services with collateral contact providers, including family members, medical personnel, school staff, and case managers as needed.
  • Actively engage in ongoing professional development and supervision as required by Florida state regulations.
  • Participate in community outreach and networking efforts to build relationships.
  • Respond to communications and requests from the Clinical Director in a reasonable and professional time frame.
Requirements
  • A master's degree or higher in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Current registration as an RMHCI or RCSWI in the state of Florida.
  • Multicultural competence in mental health.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner.
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus).
  • Ability to speak Spanish is desirable, but not required.
