Medical Care Specialist

As a Physical Therapist Assistant at Select Medical, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care to those requiring extended hospital care. Our team is dedicated to promoting healing and recovery in a compassionate environment.

ResponsibilitiesThe ideal candidate will assist directly and indirectly with the delivery of Physical Therapy services, including transportation, therapeutic exercises, and functional activities as outlined by treatment plans and in accordance with state practice guidelines.
You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment goals, plans, and programs established by the Physical Therapist (PT).
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting the PT in carrying out therapeutic interventions designed to meet patients' long-term goals
- Implementing treatment plans and programs
- Training patients in locomotion using orthotics, prosthetics, or assistive devices
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A valid state PTA license
- A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification by start date
- An understanding of patient needs and a passion for providing superior quality of care

The estimated salary for this position is $26.50 per hour, based on location and experience.
