About the Role

Select Medical is seeking a skilled Clinical Coordinator for our Critical Illness Recovery Hospital in South Charleston, West Virginia.

Job Overview

We are committed to providing exceptional care and support to our patients and families. As a Clinical Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities
  • Patient Assessment and Care: Initiate systematic assessments of physical, emotional, social, educational, and functional needs of patients/families through interview, observation, and physical examination.
  • Nursing Database Completion: Complete nursing database within 24 hours of admission/transfer.
  • Teaching and Counseling: Teach and counsel patients/families, making referrals to appropriate resource personnel when needed.
  • MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION AND IV DRIP MANAGEMENT: Administer medications as ordered, evaluate effectiveness of PRN medications, and regulate drip rates as ordered.
Qualifications
  • Valid State RN License: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of West Virginia.
  • BLS and ACLS Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Experience and Education: Minimum 1 year experience as a Charge Nurse/House Supervisor, current with all required education in Select University.
