Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled EEG Technician to join our team at NavitsPartners. As an EEG Technician, you will play a critical role in assessing patients' brain activity and helping diagnose neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform EEG testing on patients, including standard, ambulatory, and video EEG monitoring, to record and analyze brain wave patterns.
  • Position and prepare patients for EEG procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process.
  • Monitor and document patient activity during tests to assist in the interpretation of data.
  • Analyze and record brain wave patterns, ensuring accurate data for diagnostic purposes.
  • Maintain and calibrate EEG equipment for optimal functionality.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide data that assists in diagnosing conditions such as epilepsy, sleep disorders, and other neurological issues.
  • Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical systems (EMR).
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience as an EEG Technician in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
  • Active registration with the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) is desirable.
