Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist I is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for preparing patients and operating x-ray equipment to obtain diagnostic images in an ambulatory setting. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will work independently and/or assist physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

As a Radiologic Technologist, your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing patients for diagnostic procedures and operating x-ray equipment to obtain high-quality images
  • Assisting physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
  • Ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A 2-year associate degree in radiologic technology or a related field
  • One year of experience in diagnostic radiology, preferred
  • Registration and certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in radiography
  • Knowledge of radiographic equipment and accessories, as well as analytical and computer skills
