UAMS Schmieding Developmental Center is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Speech Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team.

This role involves evaluating the speech and language skills of infants, children, and adolescents from birth to adolescence, providing second opinions regarding diagnoses, and conducting clinical observations regarding the presence or absence of a developmental disability.

We are looking for a passionate professional who can make a difference in the lives of children and support their speech and language development.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate the speech and language skills of infants, children, and adolescents from birth to adolescence.
  • Provide second opinions regarding diagnoses and conduct clinical observations regarding the presence or absence of a developmental disability.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to support the speech and language development of children.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to children and families.

Requirements:

  • AR License in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence or be eligible
  • Two (2) years of pediatric experience in speech-language evaluations
