Position Overview: The Tax Manager plays a pivotal role in our organization, contributing to our ongoing growth and success. This position offers a blend of in-office and remote work, allowing for a flexible schedule that accommodates personal needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with clients across various sectors, including technology, startups, manufacturing, and service industries.
  • Analyze and adjust financial statements for small business clients.
  • Prepare and review business and individual tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver high-quality services to clients.
  • Conduct research and draft documentation on complex tax issues.
  • Identify and implement effective tax planning strategies for clients.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, demonstrating professionalism and clarity in presenting financial information.
  • Uphold the highest standards of ethics and confidentiality in all client interactions.
  • Manage client expectations and provide assistance with tax-related inquiries.
  • Stay informed on tax regulations and updates that may impact clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • CPA certification is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, tax preparation, or auditing is required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities with a creative and logical approach.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks and UltraTax is preferred.
