Job Summary

St. Claire Regional Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team of healthcare professionals. As a CRNA, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and services in our designated specialty.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers and complete procedures entailing significant risk.
  • Treat patients in a faithful, diligent, and skillful manner in accordance with current acceptable standards of practice in the CRNA's professional specialty, applicable to state and federal laws and regulations, and accrediting body standards.
  • Consult with physicians concerning matters outside the CRNA's scope of practice or professional specialty.
  • Assist with training and education of students and other personnel within the CRNA's professional specialty.
  • Assist emergency physicians in treating emergency department patients in a timely manner.
  • Actively support and participate in performance improvement to achieve excellent patient outcomes, customer satisfaction, team work, patient safety, and efficient utilization of resources.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and an approved school of Nurse Anesthesia.
  • Eligibility for certification by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
  • Satisfactorily pass the AANA national exam within twelve (12) months of hire.
  • Holds a current Registered Nurse (RN) license and has Advanced Practitioner status in the State of Kentucky.
  • Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
