Assistant Nurse Manager

The Assistant Nurse Manager in Acute Obstetrics is a registered nurse who coordinates clinical activities within the OB/NICU areas and collaborates with other healthcare team members. This individual will be competent to perform in all areas of the OB Service, including OB ED Nurse, QMP, L&D Nurse, and OBOR Circulator, to ensure the smooth operation of the OB Service.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and indirect supervision of OB/NICU service line staff
- Assistance with unit staffing and scheduling
- Leadership and support to NICU service
- Collaboration with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care
- Licensed Registered Nurse, State of Florida
- BSN preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart or equivalent)
- ACLS certification (American Heart or equivalent)
- NRP (American Academy of Pediatrics) within 90 days
- Successful completion of Basic EKG course
- AWOHNN FETAL MONITORING within 180 Days
- Certifications specific to areas of expertise
- 2-3 years RN experience in clinical area
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
