Job SummaryThe HR Business Partner plays a vital role in supporting various Human Resource functions in partnership with business units or campuses. This role provides support for Human Resources Business Partners in functional areas of human resources, including employee relations, talent management, talent acquisition, and total rewards.
Key Responsibilities- Employee Support: Provides support to employees regarding payroll, benefits, leave of absence, and recruitment, ensuring compliance with HR policies and practices.
- Policy and Procedure Management: Provides support and counsel to leaders and employees to ensure consistent application and integration of policies, procedures, and practices.
- Investigations and Resolution: Coordinates with HR Business Partners to provide advice and counsel on employee issues; conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations to ensure concerns are appropriately resolved in a timely manner.
- Employee Engagement: Demonstrates professional behavior and the ability to maintain confidentiality on a variety of topics; understands and exercises good judgment to know when to involve HR Business Partner or leader on more complex or sensitive issues.
- Administrative Support: Leads, develops, and participates in company-sponsored activities to support employee engagement.
- Exit Interviews and Retention: Assists with conducting exit interviews to provide visibility regarding turnover.
- New Employee Onboarding: Coordinates monthly check-ins with new employees to help improve retention and engagement initiatives.
- Employee Feedback and Surveys: Manages employee surveys to gather employee feedback to improve employee experience.
- Record Keeping and Compliance: Maintains accurate employee records and administrative procedures that comply with company and regulatory guidelines.
- Termination and Unemployment: Manages and coordinates termination documentation, including unemployment requests and verification.
- Job Descriptions and Recruitment: Coordinates with leaders to ensure accurate job descriptions as initiate the recruitment process.
- Talent Acquisition and Recruitment: Assists in talent acquisition and recruitment process, including representing Cirrus at events to promote job opportunities.
- Core Values and Mission: Actively supports our mission, vision, and core values and demonstrates Cirrus' Service Essentials.
- Process Improvement: Participates in department meetings and offers suggestions and ideas for process improvement.
- Attendance and Availability: Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance.
- Additional Responsibilities: Other projects and duties as assigned.
- HR Inquiries and Support: First point of contact to respond to general HR inquiries or direct to appropriate area, including responding to general HR email inbox; assist employees with UKG self-service, including benefit enrollment, payroll, or time management questions, and system access.
- Employment Verification: Respond to employment verification requests.
- Compliance and Reporting: Compliance & reporting for employee airport badges and other HR audits as needed.
- National Security Agreement: Compliance with National Security Agreement, including providing visitor notifications and tracking and submitting monthly/annual reports.
- Departmental Invoices: Tracks and accurately codes department invoices ensuring timely reconciliation and submittal.
- HR Communication: Creates and distributes HR memos and other communication material as requested.
- Supply Management: Orders and maintains supplies for the department.
- Key Metric Reports: Assists with preparing and communicating key metric reports on behalf of the department.
- Mail Routing: Routes daily mail accordingly.
- HR File Management: Ensures that HR files, both physical and digital, are created and maintained in accordance with legal requirements and Company policies and procedures.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent field preferred.
- Communication and Organizational Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Stress Management: Ability to effectively manage stress, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time.
- Collaboration and Professionalism: Ability to effectively work with others and maintain professional demeanor.
- Microsoft Office: Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
- Human Capital Management System: Experience utilizing Human Capital Management System preferred.
- Professional Certification: PHR (Professional in Human Resources) helpful, however, not required.
