As a Sales Floor Associate at DSW, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our customers shopping in-store and through our omni-channel services. You will assess customer needs and provide assistance by executing our customer service model, always putting the customer first.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly and helpful service to customers
  • Assess customer needs and provide assistance
  • Execute salesfloor and warehouse functions throughout the store
  • Process customer transactions, including online and in-store transactions
  • Process incoming shipments and maintain a neat and clean store environment
  • Comply with all policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Professional and friendly demeanor
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to move with tempo to meet time-bound expectations
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in using technology to engage with customers
  • Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing or walking around the store
  • Lifting, including the ability to lift up to a maximum of 50 pounds on an occasional to frequent basis

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of retail experience as Cashier, Retail Floor Generalist, or Store Receiver
