Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to join our team at Virtual. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in overseeing the financial consolidation, reporting, and accounting operations for our global corporation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly Reporting and Close Process: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, manage the monthly close process, and drive continuous improvement in our financial processes.
  • Cash Flow Statement and Analysis: Prepare and analyze cash flow statements to inform business decisions.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Develop and maintain financial forecasts and plans to support business growth.
  • Financial Analysis and Compliance: Conduct financial analysis and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • SEC Reporting and Disclosure review: Review and prepare SEC reports and disclosures.
  • Pension and Benefit Planning: Manage pension and benefit plans to ensure compliance and optimal performance.
  • Corporate Accounting Management: Oversee corporate accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals to achieve business objectives.
  • Audit Coordination: Coordinate with external auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
  • Consultation and SOX Compliance: Provide consultation and ensure compliance with SOX requirements.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the monthly close process.
  • Detailed experience in consolidating results of a global corporation.
  • Highly driven and self-motivated individual who can manage projects independently.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance, CPA a plus.
  • Minimum of ten years of prior experience in accounting, with at least three years in public accounting and five years on the Controller team of a publicly traded company.
  • Experience with Hyperion Finance Management (HFM) consolidation system is required.
