Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Floor Associate to join our team at Sears Jersey City. As a Sales Floor Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized sales floor, and driving sales through effective merchandising and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including restocking shelves, straightening merchandise, and completing other tasks as assigned.
  • Drive sales through effective merchandising and presentation, including setting up displays and signing.
  • Assist customers with finding products, completing transactions, and resolving issues.
  • Work collaboratively with store leadership to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Less than one year of related experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Preferred Skills
  • Retail experience preferred.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, working approximately 20 hours per week. The schedule will vary and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
