Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technician II to join our team at HCA Florida Citrus Hospital. As a Cardiovascular Technician II, you will play a vital role in assisting with cardiac catheterization, vascular diagnostic, and interventional procedures. You will also perform emergency procedures associated with catheterization, including IAB and temporary pacer insertion. Under the direction of a credentialed invasive cardiologist or radiologist, you will follow established standards and practices to ensure the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in cardiac catheterization, vascular diagnostic, and interventional procedures.
  • Perform emergency procedures associated with catheterization, including IAB and temporary pacer insertion.
  • Collect accurate data and participate in the patient's care in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Prioritize resources to patient care and diagnostic activities based on accurate patient information and staff capabilities.
  • Document findings and report abnormal or out-of-range results to physicians.
Requirements
  • High school or GED required.
  • LPN with one year of experience in critical care or one year of cath lab experience, or one year of RCIS or CVT, or graduate of accredited RCVT program.
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
