Role Overview:

  • Play a pivotal role in the formulation and implementation of strategies for North American supply.
  • Establish preferred supply partnerships with multinational corporations, refiners, intoplane service providers, and M&O tank farm operators through advantageous negotiations.
  • Negotiate direct supply contracts, inventory opportunities, and intoplane rates throughout the network to ensure comprehensive coverage and competitive pricing.
  • Proactively manage supply, intoplane, and M&O tank farm agreements.
  • Collaborate closely with commercial and FBO sales teams to drive volume growth, respond to RFPs, and offer pricing guidance for optimization.
  • Work with FBO Supply to capitalize on overlapping commercial opportunities.
  • Employ a data-driven methodology for negotiations and prioritize opportunities effectively.
  • Ensure that supply relationships are actively nurtured and developed to secure the best supply costs and terms in the industry.
  • Provide precise forecasting, supply price modeling, and other analytical tasks.
  • Participate in industry events and trade exhibitions.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Business Development, Billing, and Segment leaders to enhance AEG's fuel sales portfolio through regular analysis of supply opportunities.
  • Proactively contribute value by developing, justifying, and executing strategic business plans to support AEG's business development initiatives.
  • Act as a role model and ambassador for AEG's Core Values in all aspects of the role.
  • Enhance employee engagement within a high-performance team culture through effective collaboration, communication, and coaching.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  • A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master's Degree/MBA or equivalent qualification in a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in fuel strategy and procurement within organizations managing large, complex networks.
  • Extensive experience in supply chain management across the U.S., particularly with major pipelines.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the logistics of shipping via product pipelines.
  • A strong understanding of Avgas and its applications in general aviation is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking abilities.
  • Willingness to travel as necessary.
