Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper at Yale New Haven Health, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and common areas. This includes cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, emptying trash and recyclables, and restocking supplies. You will also assist in maintaining high patient satisfaction cleanliness standards and contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the hospital.

Responsibilities
  • Clean and disinfect patient rooms and common areas according to department policies and procedures.
  • Empty trash and recyclables and restock supplies as needed.
  • Assist in maintaining high patient satisfaction cleanliness standards.
  • Contribute to the overall cleanliness and organization of the hospital.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will also need to be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
