Care Partners is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team as a Primary Care Provider. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating illnesses, and prescribing medications.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests to determine the nature of a patient's condition
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic tests
- Provide preventative care, including vaccinations and health education
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Document patient interactions and treatment plans in a timely and accurate manner
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in primary care
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse Practitioner in the State of California
- Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
- Current BLS certification
- Current DEA certification
- Valid California driver's license and proof of auto insurance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a primary care setting
- Knowledge of electronic medical records and practice management systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
