The Opportunity

  • We are seeking Emergency Department/Urgent Care Center physician assistants and nurse practitioners.
  • ED/UCC experience is preferred, but new grads with strong emergency or paramedic/EMT experience will be considered.
  • Current national certification and DEA are required.
  • ACLS and current CA state license are a plus.

The Practice

Sutter Delta Medical Center – Antioch, California

  • This 145-bed hospital serves the greater East Contra Costa County.
  • The 31-bed Emergency Department has approximately 52k-55k annual patient visits.
  • It is a Level II Trauma Center and STEMI receiving center.
  • The patient population is evenly distributed across all age groups.
  • It has received the HealthGrades Emergency Medicine Excellence Award for the last three years.

  • The area has a moderate climate with dryer winters and warmer summers.
  • It is close proximity to the San Francisco Bay Area, Sacramento, and Lake Tahoe.
